1. First of all, we just lost our staff administrator and are looking for a replacement. This is a flexible 20 to 30 hour a week independent contractor (1099) position, starting at $10 an hour for one month "training", then raising to $12 an hour for two more months. If things are working out after three months, we can talk about putting you on staff at $12.50 an hour. I need someone who is meticulously detail oriented, with strong organization skills and a love of theater. The heart of the job is ongoing database updating (we use Filemaker Pro - very simple), plus membership outreach and renewal and issuing membership cards (we use In Design - I'll teach you), and building and maintaining our segmented email list through Mailermailer mailing service. Plus maintaining the office calendar, invoicing, banking, weekly Paypal transfers, bill paying and light bookkeeping (we use Quicken - it's very simple). Knowledge of Dreamweaver web software would be helpful - you could help
maintain and update our website. Good writing skills are always welcome - letter writing, issuing donor letters, and possibly even helping with the content of the TRU Update.
